Volunteers throughout the campus are busy setting up for the huge 43rd Annual Willowbrook Rummage Sale at Willowbrook United Methodist Church, 19390 North 99th Avenue, Sun City.

Dates and times of the sale are: Thursday, January 23, 8:00 to 3:00; Friday, January 24, 8:00 to 3:00; and Saturday, January 25, from 8:00 to noon.

The church campus is being filled with new and gently used items including men’s and women’s clothing, jewelry, housewares, linens, books, bric-a brac, hardware, sporting goods, small appliances, electronics, music, art work, office materials, medical goods, Christmas items, etc. The donated items have been collected and stored throughout the year and are now being sorted and priced to be sold by Willowbrook members and friends.

During the Sale, hot cinnamon buns, beverages, hot and cold sandwiches, homemade pies, and other delicious treats are available for purchase at the patio café.

Proceeds from the Sale help to fund Willowbrook’s participationin numerous outreach and mission programs. Goods from the sale are donated to veterans’ projects and programs for the homeless and abused. After the sale, remaining items are donated to a large charitable organization and distributed through its channels. Nothing goes to waste.
