Our Story
From its very beginning on April 18, 1976, Willowbrook has experienced God’s abundant grace. On that Easter Sunday morning, 171 people gathered with Rev. Albert J. Wilson for the first worship service, and 37 people took membership vows that day. Just weeks later, on May 16, 1976, the church was officially constituted. The following year, as the congregation grew to 250 members, they voted to build a church home at our current location.
Those founding members adopted a bold faith statement: “Expect a Miracle.” And they lived it.
Rooted in Christian faith, shaped by close and caring fellowship, and committed to serving both local and global needs, Willowbrook grew into a warm and welcoming congregation. That heritage continues today. Willowbrook remains a strong, Christ-centered church with a heart for mission, offering many ways for people to serve, grow, and make a difference in our neighborhood and around the world.
