On World CoOcmmunion day, Pastor Gary points out the importance of conversations around the table. A time of remembering the past and a time of sharing what is going on in our lives. When Jesus instituted communion, He wanted us to remember Him and his sacrifice, as well as remember our responsibilities as His followers. When he and his disciples gathered around the table for their last Passover meal together, he focused on two elements in the meal and told them how they would now represent his blood and body. He encouraged them to take this meal together often and remember Him and encourage each other.
