When the disciples told Jesus they were not good enough to do the job he gave them to do, Jesus replied, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” He told the disciples they needed to trust God to help them do the job they were called to do.

When the land owner chose to pay a full day’s wage to his workers whether they worked all day or only for a short time, some of the workers questioned the fairness of his practice. The land owner pointed out he paid everyone what they agreed upon as a wage and they needed to trust his wisdom and generosity.

While the Jews were living as slaves, they received food to eat. When God freed them and they were in the wilderness, they were getting hungry and they complained to Moses and told him at least when they were slaves, they didn’t go hungry. Moses told them they needed to trust the God who had taken them out of captivity. God then provided food for them morning and night. There was always enough and never too much.

God has given each of us gifts to do the job He has called us to do. We must be diligent to study and identify our Spiritual gifts and faithful in prayer to confirm what God has called us to do. We must trust God to help us do the job He has called us to do.
